Listing Editor Warning for Vrbo and Airbnb

  • When a change is made in the Vrbo listing editor, it takes about 24 hours to sync, but this information is not available anywhere. It would be great to have a sign warning about this.

  • When a change is made in the Airbnb listing editor, sometimes the field is blocked from editing in the Airbnb API. It would also be great if iGMS gave out a warning when a field is blocked by Airbnb.

    Display a message when listing fields are locked by Airbnb

    When a field in the Listing Editor is locked by Airbnb and cannot be updated through iGMS, the system should display a clear message informing the user that the field is managed by Airbnb and can only be edited on the Airbnb platform.

    At the moment, users can still modify these fields in the Listing Editor and click Update, which makes it appear that the changes will be applied. However, since Airbnb does not accept the update, the changes are not reflected on the listing, leading users to believe there is an issue with iGMS.

    The system should detect when a listing field is locked by Airbnb and display a message indicating that changes to that field must be made directly on Airbnb.
